You decide what happens to your data. Below you can read how to have individual memories, a WhatsApp link or your whole account deleted.
Open the memory in your child's timeline and choose delete. The photo, video or recording is then removed from our storage straight away. If you sent something via WhatsApp, you can also reply to your own message in that chat with “delete”.
In the app, go to your child and then to WhatsApp. There you can remove the link for your own number or a family member's. From that moment on we no longer process messages from that number. The technical log of messages received earlier (without message content) is deleted automatically within 90 days.
If you want everything erased, send a message from your account's email address to privacy@ouderliefde.appwith the subject “Delete account”. We'll confirm your request and then delete:
This happens within 30 days and is permanent — we cannot restore deleted memories. Data we are legally required to keep, such as invoices for the tax authorities, is kept for as long as the law requires.
